Hello everyone!

My name is AquaBoy and I am currently working on a game called Chickey Jump! I started this project all the way back in 2022 and than I abandoned it. I learned a lot more coding and design skills since than and, I decided to start work on a updated Chickey Jump, starting from the ground up. I code using Turbowarp or Penguin Mod as I code using block coding. Chickey Jump is making a lot of process, and I have an estimated release date for the game, I plan to release Chickey Jump On Sunday, September 1st, 2024. The game will launch with one chapter, a character customizer, as well as a level editor. There is a store in the game, that will be coming in the first update as I have yet to develop any items that would need to be bought. The leaderboard system is going to be very basic only showcasing the number 1 player of the amount of wins as well as the amount of jumps. I am looking into making a better leaderboard, but it is pretty difficult to do as we have to deal with how we save it to a server. The game is being launched on both Gamejolt and Itch.io! The game is pretty much the same, no matter what platform you want to play on. The only difference, is that Gamejolt will have an achievement system built into the game, when Itch does not. The reason for this is because Itch does not have a game api in any form, so there are no achievements. However there will be an achievement system built into the game for all players. This system will launch in the 1.1 update which is planned to release in early September bringing a power-up system, some new obstacles, the store, as well as the new achievement system. This system may release on launch, but it depends. When you first play the game, on itch, it will ask you for your username, your username will save, and it will be shown on any leaderboard. On Gamejolt, it will auto log you in. All the usernames, on both platforms, will be added to an invisible list, so it will know if the username is taken or not.
